Spartan was offered to us by Karen after our original order couldn't be filled.  We feel it was fate that we ended up with him instead of the buck we had originally picked.  Karen suggested Spartan because she knows we like animals with lots of length and size.  He has all of this and more.  His feet and legs are excellent and he is sharp and angular throughout.  Slice, his dam, is one of the largest does in Karen's herd, and has had quite a show career winning National Sr. Champion Lamancha in 2005.  She appraised an impressive overall 93, along with an outstanding milk record.  His sire, Citron, produced the 1st place Jr. Get at the 2005 Nationals.  We feel Spartan produces a dairy doe that is overall correct and has a well attached mammary system.  His daughters are some of the best we have had and we will continue to use him over the next couple years.  He ties in well with our One*Oak*Hill lines and has proven to be a very valuable buck.

Dec., 2009 - Unfortunately Spartan sustained a fatal injury.  We consider this a huge loss, but are even more grateful for his daughters in our herd.  After this kidding season, Spartan will be moved over to the 'Reference' page.

Up is simply unbelievable.  He is the tallest, longest buck buck I have ever owned.  We traded with Karen this spring and couldn't be happier with this guy.  He is sharp and clean boned with excellent feet and legs.  He has beautiful leg angulation, has good width throughout and is flashy to boot!  His dam, Up Yours, is stunning and, in my opinion, is one of the prettiest and most correct does around (not to mention she is BIG!).  His sire, Toronto, is pretty impressive himself, and has sired some beautiful animals.  We are so impressed with this guy that we plan on using him heavily this season.

Up's first freshening daughters have done very well.  His daughter, Surri, earned 2 milking legs and both her and Tansey scored well on Linear Appraisal.

Maddock has the combination of some of our best genetics.  He is a tall and long-framed buck that is dairy and sharp.  He has a lot of good udders and general appearance behind him.  We will b e using him  quite a bit this fall and look forward to his first kid crop!

Zane was purchased from Rockin' CB Lamanchas.  We have admired his granddam, Prankster, for many years and like the looks of Tach Lach's freshened daughters.  These animals, along with his granddam, Evian, speak for themselves.  Zane has a long dairy neck with tons of body and width.  We expect Zane to throw exceptional teat placement, foreudders and depth of body.  He should cross well with several of our does.

Tristin is the last kid born out of our beautiful Taudry.  He is very growthy with an excellent topline and rump.  His rear legs have good angulation and he has great length and width.  With his mother's general appearance and his grandmother, Strait's, udder and milk production, he will be sure to produce some beautiful, productive kids.

Apache is a long, level buck kid with tons of width between the hocks.  His dam has excellent front end and shoulder assembly, which we are hoping he will pass on to his offspring.  His sire, Fortune, has left his mark in the Olentangy herd with some very impressive daughters.  We can't wait to see Apache's first kid crop!
