Jazz is a deep
bodied, dairy type doe, that is as tough as nails. She
has a very correct front end and awesome shoulder assembly.
Her mammary system is capacious and well attached, with
properly placed teats of the correct size and shape. Jazz had a slow start to her show season
in 2004 after a leg injury. The injury was bad enough that
we scratched her at the Nationals and thought of retiring her,
but after some good advice and some pampering, she was back on
the show string in less than a month. Jazz went on to
finish the season with a bang! In 2005, at 7 yrs. old, she
looked and had shown as well as ever with several Grand
Champion and
Best of Breed wins. Jazz came out last year at age 8 and
was 3rd in the Sr. Aged Doe class at the Nationals, and was her usual competitive self. She has a permanent
linear score of EEEE 92. Along with showing well, Jazz is a good brood
doe; one of her 2003 daughters sold in the Spotlight sale for
over $3,000 and several others are working on show careers in
other herds. We are very pleased with her daughter,
Jada, by
Tirade.
She has the qualities of her dam, but even taller and
longer.
Jazz is still going
strong at 11 yrs. old. She will be bred to Zane this
fall with hopes of reproducing some great offspring!

Jamica is a special
doe to us. She is my son Tyler's showmanship doe, and is
just an easy type doe to have around. Jamica is a
smoothly blended doe, with tremendous width from her chest to
her hocks and has an incredible wide, flat rump. She has
strong feet and legs with correct overall body conformation.
Her mammary system is nicely attached both fore and rear with
excellent size and placement of teats. Jamica finished
her championship in 2003 and was part of our Milking Get at
the Nationals. She came out even stronger in 2004
placing 9th at the Nationals and going 3x Best Doe in Show. Jamica was only shown a limited amount
in 2005 and 2006 due to focusing on some of our other does,
but was Grand Champion, Best of Breed and Best in Show several
times. We are very excited about last year's doe and her
offspring. Jamica's son, Sorcerer, has already made his
mark and another son, Zephyr,
had his first freshening daughters last spring that were
beautiful. Along with nice bucks, Jamica has also
produced several beautiful daughters in other herds as well as
my own herd.

Venus was added to
our herd from Willow Run. We admired her at the Nationals in
Harrisburg and were lucky enough to get the opportunity to
purchase her when the Dean's sold out.
Venus is the type of doe that stands out in the herd.
She has a wild color pattern and a great personality.
Her body style is very dairy; she is sharp in the withers, has
a long, level topline, strong pasterns, and a capacious, well
attached mammary system. Venus has an exceptional rear
udder and teat placement, but could use a little more
foreudder extension. When we purchased Venus, she was
already a finished champion and had placed 3rd at the
Nationals in Harrisburg. Venus has continued to show well,
going several times Best of Breed and Best Doe in Show.
She appraised EEEE 92 in 2007, and we feel this doe is an
incredibly strong producer.

Marmalade has been
one of my favorites since she was a kid. She is a good
sized doe that is very balanced and stands on excellent feet
and legs. Her body is very smoothly blended and is
overall very correct. Marmalade's mammary system is
snugly attached both fore and rear. She was very showy
as a kid, always standing at the top of her class and has
continued on as a milker. As a yearling, she had only
ever taken second to herd mate, Tempra. Marmalade was
also Reserve Champion to our older girls in the 2004 season, and we felt
that was quite an accomplishment for such a young doe.
In 2005 she finished her championship after her first three
shows, ending the season with 12x 1st, 4x 2nd, 1x 3rd, 3x GCH
and numerous RGCH. Marmalade came out for the past few
years winning numerous Best Doe In Show Awards. She
placed 5th at this year's Nationals in the 5-6 Yr. Old milking
class, and many people commented on how she should have won it
(and I can't disagree!).
Marmalade came down
with mastitis at our first weekend show. We took her off
the show string this summer and have high hopes she will be up
for the Nationals in 2010. She is a very, very special
doe, and personally, I would take a whole herd just like her!

Jada's beautiful rear udder and correct teat size and
placement (Jada also has excellent texture). Jada has
been very competitive for the past couple years, winning
numerous championships and several Best Udder in Show awards.
She was also 8th place 3 yr. old at the 2008 Nationals, and
her daughter, Jitter, was 3rd place Jr. Kid. Jada, along
with many of our 4 yr. olds, took the majority of the year off

Strait reminds us
so much of her dam, Tory. She has the same capacious,
beautifully attached udder, and is tall in stature with a
long, dairy frame. Her feet and legs are strong and she
has more rear leg angulation than her dam. Strait is
also very correct in her shoulder assembly, scoring excellent
on linear appraisal. We love this doe! She was
the star of our yearling show string and came out in 2007 just
as strong. Along with showing well, she is an excellent
milker and has produced some beautiful daughters.
Strait was not
shown in 2008 and 2009 because of a mastitis problem;
unfortunately, it has resulted in some permanent damage to her
mammary system. Her show career has ended, but will live
on through her beautiful daughters. We are excited about
her breeding to Zane. This cross should be extra nice.

Dare just seems to get better with age. She finished her

snuggly attached both fore and rear, with plumb teats of
