Jazz is a deep bodied,
dairy-type doe that is as tough as nails. She has a
very correct front end and awesome shoulder
assembly. Her mammary system is capacious and well
attached, with properly placed teats of the correct
size and shape. Jazz had a slow start to her show
season in 2004 after a leg injury. the injury was
bad enough that we scratched her at the Nationals
and thought of retiring her, but after some good
advice and some pampering, she was back in the show
string in less than a month. Jazz went on to finish
the season with a bang!
In 2005, at 7 years old, she
looked and had shown as well as ever with several
Grand Champion and Best of Breed wins. Jazz came out
in 2006 at age 8 and was 3rd in the Sr. Aged Doe
class at the nationals, and was her usual
competitive self. She has a permanent linear score
of 92 EEEE.
Along with showing well, Jazz is a good brood doe.
One of her 2003 daughters sold in the Spotlight Sale
for over $3,000 and several others are working on
show careers in other herds. We are very pleased
with her daughter, Jada by Tirade. She has the
qualities of her dam, but even taller and longer. |

Jostle is of medium size and
stature having a long, smoothly blended body and a
tightly attached udder. She is one of the most
balanced does in our herd, being very evenly
proportioned with good depth of body and an adequate
capacity to her mammary system. We feel a kid from
Jostle would make anyone a nice addition to their
show string or breeding program. Jostle comes from a
very dependable line noted for their great mammary
systems and ability to reproduce.
We feel Jostle has already
shown us her ability by producing several beautiful
daughters. Her daughter, Jubilee, belongs to the
Gosnell family and was 7th place Milking yearling at
the Nationals in 2002 and 9th place 2 year old in
Des Moines. Jostle's daughter, Jamaica, the
littermate to Jubilee, was retained in our own herd
and has quite a show record herself, placing 9th at
the Nationals last summer and going Best Doe in Show
two times this season. Both does are also finished
champions. Jostle was 11th place 4 year old at the
Nationals in 2003 and was also part of the 1st place
Senior Get of Sire. Jostle was last appraised at 4
years with a score of 90 VVEE. She now resides with
a family friend and this will be my last kidding I
get from her.

Jrupent is a very flashy,
eye-catching doe that oozes of style, and is the
type of animal that stands out in the crowd. She is
a tall doe with a long, level topline and a large,
deep frame. Her mammary system is awesome, having a
perfect fore that is extremely long, and a very high
rear udder. Jrupent was undefeated as a yearling and
came on just as strong as a 2 year old, finishing
her championship and placing 6th at the Nationals in
Pueblo. Just when we thought she couldn't do any
better, Jrupent came out in 2003 and topped the 3
year old class of 60 in Des Moines, and won Best
LaMancha Udder of Show! She was also part of the 1st
place Senior Get of Sire.
Her season in 2004 was also strong, placing 5th at
the Nationals (we truly thought she deserved better)
and numerous Best of Breed, Best in Show and Best
Udder in Show awards. Jrupent appraised 92 EEEE on
her linear scores days for the Nationals in 2004.
She was only shown a limited number of times in 2005
due to an udder inflammation and still garnered
several Best of Breed wins.
The last two years have not
been productive for Jrupent with a bad kidding in
2007, and reabsorbing her kids last year. We are
going to make one last attempt for a successful late
spring kidding. Jrupent still looks great at 9 years
old, so we have our fingers crossed! |

Venus was added to our herd
from Willow Run. We admired her at the Nationals in
Harrisburg and were lucky enough to get the
opportunity to purchase her when the Dean's sold
out. Venus is the type of doe that stands out in the
herd. She has a wild color pattern and a great
personality. her body style is very dairy; she is
sharp in the withers, has a long, level topline,
strong pasterns, and a capacious, well attached
mammary system. Venus has an exceptional rear udder
and teat placement but could use a little more fore
udder extension. When we purchased Venus, she was
already a finished champion and had placed 3rd in
Harrisburg. Venus has continued to show ell, going
several times Best of Breed and Best Doe in Show.
She appraised 92 EEEE in 2007, and we feel this doe
is an incredibly strong producer. |

Tirza is a very dairy type doe
that is sharp and angular throughout with lots of
milk production. She has a capacious, well attached
mammary system (an exceptionally pretty rear udder).
Her son, Tirade, is our Senior Herdsire and exhibits
a lot of the same dairy qualities. Tirza had a good
season in 2004 placing 6tth at Nationals over the
rst of our 3 year olds and appraising 90 VEEE. Last
year's show season went exceptionally well with
Tirza finishing her championship, going 2X GCH, 2X
RGCH, and Best Uddered LaMancha at our state show.
She came on just as strong this year appraising 91
EEEE.
Tirza is a real easy doe to
have around. She handles well and is always the
same. She is a good show doe and an excellent brood
doe. Her son, Tirade, has thrown some excellent
daughters and will be used again this season. Her
daughter, Tyra, out of Triton, is just beautiful,
making the cut at the Nationals and standing 1st at
our State Fair. Another daughter, Treeza, was 1st
place out of a huge class at the 2006 Nationals. We
feel her breeding with Cyclone this season should
also be quite complimentary! |

Jamica is a special doe to us.
She is my son Tyler's showmanship doe, and is just
an easy type doe to have around. Jamica is a
smoothly blended doe, with tremendous width from her
chest to her hocks and has an incredible wide, flat
rump. She has strong feet and legs with correct
overall body conformation. Her mammary system is
nicely attached both fore and rear with excellent
size and placement of teats. Jamica finished her
championship in 2003 and was part of our Senior Get
of Sire at the Nationals. She came out even stronger
in 2004 placing 9th at the Nationals and going 3X
Best Doe in Show. Jamica was only shown a
limited amount in 2005 and 2006 due to focusing on
some of our other does, but was Grand Champion, Best
of Breed and Best in Show several times. We are very
excited about last year's doe and her offspring.
Jamica's son, Sorcerer, has already made his mark
and another son, Zephyr, had his first freshening
daughters last spring that were beautiful. Along
with nice bucks, Jamica has also produced several
beautiful daughters in other herds as well as my
own. |

Cozy was also purchased from
Willow Run. We always wanted something related to
Malachite and we were delighted when Billy
recommended Cozy to us. She is a soundly built doe
that is very uphill and level over the topline and
rump. Her body is smoothly blended and she is strong
on her feet and legs. Cozy has a well-attached
mammary system with a smooth fore and a high, wide
rear udder. Before coming to us, they only attempted
to show Cozy once bringing her to Harrisburg, but
she didn't take that first show well and was
scratched. Cozy adjusted to our herd well and had a
good show season. She finished her championship in
2005 with a show record of 3X 1st, 2X 2nd, 3X 3rd,
2X 4th and 3X GCH. She freshened last spring with a
single buck and had some local complications that
set her back on milk production. We didn't show her
at the Nationals because she looked a little stale,
but even with a limited show season she still did
well going Best of Breed twice. Additionally, she
appraised an impressive 92 EVEE. We had hoped to
bring her out this year, but she aborted and we
didn't want to rebreed her and have her freshen so
late in the season. Cozy is a very exciting doe and
we have high hopes for the 2008 Nationals. her
breeding to Spartan will be a repeat. The buck kid
was outstanding and we would like a copy! |

Taudry is a doe that excels in
general appearance. The first thing you notice about
her is her long, level topline and level, flat rump.
She is smoothly blended throughout, especially in
the shoulder assembly. Her overall structure is very
correct and her mammary system is snugly attached.
She has lots of eye appeal. Taudry was competitive
as a first freshening 2 year old in 2004, placing
12th at the Nationals, and placing 1st four out of
seven times shown, and never placing lower than 4th.
We felt that another freshening would even make her
more competitive, and it did. She was one of our
stars in 2005 with numerous 1st's and 2nd's, 5X GCH,
2X RGCH, 5X Best of Breed and 4X Best Doe in Show
wins.
Last season started
out a little rough after a bad kidding, but she
bounced back and came on just as strong appraising
91 EEEE and going Best Doe in S how at her first
show out. Unfortunately, she had a skin reaction to
wasp bites and was not up to par at the Nationals,
but still made the cut placing 18th in a large
class. After having 2007 off, Taudry is back to
herself adn we will be looking forward to taking her
out in 2008 as an aged doe. |

Marmalade has been one of my
favorites since she was a kid. She is a good sized
doe that is very balanced and stands on excellent
feet and legs. Her body is very smoothly blended and
is overall very correct. Marmalade's mammary system
is snugly attached both fore and rear. She was very
showy as a kid, always standing at the top of her
class and has continued on as a milker. As a
yearling, she had only ever taken second to herdmate,
Tempra. Marmalade was also Reserve Champion to
our older girls in the 2004 season, and we felt that
was quite an accomplishment for such a young doe. In
2005, she finished her championship after her first
three shows, ending the season with 12X 1st, 4X 2nd,
1X 3rd, 3X GCH and numerous RGCH. marmalade came out
for the past few years winning numerous Best Doe in
Show awards.
We were glad to see Marmalade
back on the show string this season and proud of her
1st place Aged doe win at last year's National Show.
She was also part of the 1st place Dairy Herd,
Produce of Dam and Best 3 Senior does - no small
feat! Her son, Maddock, has really produced some
beautiful daughters, showing the consistency in this
line.
Marmalade is a very, very

Tempra is a long framed doe

capacious, with good attachment both fore and rear.
Tempra is an exceptional milker and has a great,
easy-going personality. She had a great show season
in 2004 as a milking yearling, placing 1st or 2nd
every time out, only taking 2nd to her own herd mate
a couple of times. She even went RGCH to our older
does at the last show of the season! In 2005, Tempra
came out just as strong placing towards the top of
her class and going RGCH on several occasions. She
finished her championship in the first couple of
show out in 2006 and appraised 90 VEEE. Tempra was a
little heavier in 2007 after kidding but mae the cut

long and level and she stands on a strong set of
feet and leg. She is a first freshening 2 year old
that has a well attached mammary system, both fore
and rear. We would like to see more capacity to her
udder, but feel this will come with another
freshening. Rhema has such strong maternal and
paternal lines that we feel she will shine in 2006.
This season she was somewhat overshadowed by her 2nd

beautifully attached udder, and is tall in stature
with a long, dairy frame. Her feet and legs are
strong and she has more rear leg angulation than her
dam. Strait is also very correct in her shoulder
assembly, scoring excellent on linear appraisal. We
love this doe! She was the star of our yearling show
string and came out in 2007 just as strong. Along
with showing well, she is an excellent milker and
has produced some beautiful daughters.
We continue to be impressed

Strait has not been shown in

beautiful rear udder and correct teat size and
placement. Jada also has excellent texture. Jada has
been very competitive for the past couple years,
winning numerous championships and several Best

Dare was offered to us by Karen
Senn of Kastdemur's Dairy Goats in 2005 when
Mountain Dew had twin does. We feel honored that
Karen and Krista would sell us such a fine doe.
Mountain Dew, Dare's dam, was Reserve National
Champion in 2004 and lineared a 91 dry. Dare is an
exceptionally large, long-bodied doe with
exceptional leg angulation. Her mammary system is
well attached and has added capacity with each
subsequent freshening. Dare just seems to get better
with age. She finished her championship and was
Grand Champion and Best of Breed at our State Fair.
We love this doe and think she is getting better and
better every year. |

Civi is my son, Tyler's, doe.
She was purchased from Karen and Krista in 2006. Her
dam, Citra, has always been my favorite doe in the
Kastdemur herd, and we were e xcited to have the
chance to get a daughter from her. Civi is the
littermate to our buck, Cyclone; she is so correct
that it is hard to fault her. Her feet and legs are
very strong and her body is smoothly blended,
balanced and correct. We love her mammary system; is
is snuggly attached both fore and rear, with plumb
teats of proper size and shape. The only thing we
think Civi needs is to fill out, which seems to be
coming with more freshenings (she is a bit immature
yet). Civi finished her championship in 2007 and has
been GCH and Best of Breed numerous times since
freshening. |

freshened as a yearling. Roana has a ton of general
appearance and stands on a strong set of feet and
legs. Her legs are well angulated and she has a deep
body with a wide, flat rump. Roana's mammary system
is very well attached and smoothly blended. Her show
season was exceptional in 2007. finishing the season
needing only one leg.
Roans came out strong in 2010,
finishing her championship, as well as standing 7th
at Nationals in a very competitive class. We truly
admire this doe for all her positive qualities. She

Tawny has been my personal
favorite since the day she was born. She is a flashy
chamoisee and white kid that draws your attention
with all her style and grace. her conformation
matches her dam, Tressa. Tawny is level over the
back to the rump, and stands on strong feet and
legs. She has also matched her dam in mammary system
with a plastered on udder and perfect teat
placement. Tawny bloomed after her 2nd freshening
and had an outstanding show season. She was the
front runner of our show string and was the first
doe to finish her championship. You can't help but
notice her; she is so upstanding and has such a
pretty udder.
Tawny is, and remains, just an incredible doe. She
is one of the farm favorites and is aging well - one
of our most valuable brood does. |

Sett is the tallest of
our does, and possibly the tallest of all our
LaManchas. She is very long bodied and is sharp and
clean throughout. Her style is similar in type to
her dam's and she has the same pretty leg angulation.
Sett has a well attached udder that has just bloomed
with each lactation. her teat placement has improved
and her fore udder is long and smooth. We love this
doe and feel she just gets better with age. Some
judges find her to be extreme and don't know what to
do with her. However, she had a good show season,
finishing her championship and placing 5th at the
Nationals in the 3 year old class. She also was 1st
place Dam & Daughter with her lovely daughter, Sunny
Day. She is exactly the type of doe that we breed
for.
This past spring she freshened
with a single buck kid and didn't come into as much
milk as she normally does, so consequently had
limited showing. We're looking forward to having her
back out in 2012 in great shape!
Congratulations to Sett -
she was the 1st place 2 year old 2009 All Breed

Maple is another one of our
flashy Spartan daughters. She is a dairy doe that is
long and level over the topline and stands on a
sound set of feet and legs. Her mammary system is
one of the nicest we have had freshen. It is
well-attached both fore and rear and has exceptional
shape and texture. She hasn't disappointed us with
showing either, being one of our top contenders.
Maple had an exceptional
showing in 2010, winning the National Champion title
and numerous Best Doe in Show wins. Maple came back
with a bang after a year off, winning the 7 & Over
class at Nationals. She continues to be an integral
part of our herd. |

Mya has been one of my picks
since a kid and still is as a milker. She is a
smoothly blended doe with a well blended front end
and good shoulder assembly. her mammary system is
very well attached with teats that are well placed
and have good size and shape. Mya has a strong set
of feet and legs, and is quite an impressive
competitor!
Mya finished her championship
and placed 2nd/1st udder at the 2010 Nationals. She
was also part of our 1st place Best 3 Senior Does
and 1st place Senior Get of Sire. At 2011's National
Show, she was 1st place 4 year old, and continues to
prove herself in the ring as well as in the barn.
Mya is still going strong, still showing well,
placing high at this year's Nationals and producing
one of this year's favorite kids in our herd. |

Mia is a striking doe out of
our beloved Madison. She follows the same style and
type of her maternal sisters, Marmalade and Maple,
being level, balanced and smoothly blended
throughout. She has a highly arched escutcheon and
freshened with an exception mammary system and good
teat placement. She may be the underdog of the
Madison daughters, but has proven herself placing
6th at the National Show and producing such a
beautiful milker, "Medley."
Mia has 2 Champion legs, and is
only one restricted leg away from finishing. This
doe is an excellent producer, and she just never
seems to age. She has proven herself as a valuable
brook doe with three beautiful daughters in our

Tara was my personal favorite
of the 2007 kid crop. She is a flashy, tall, long
bodied doe with tons of style and incredible general
appearance. She has more dairy character than her
dam and exhibits the same width throughout. Tara's
udder is beautiful. She has an exceptional rear
udder, being very high and wide. She finished her
championship as a 3 year old and had a strong season
from start to finish, including winning the 3 year
old class at the 2012 National Show. In 2013, she
was BDIS at the NAILE.
One of Tara's best qualities is
her consistent ability to reproduce herself. We've
seen it over and over - an absolute great quality.
Added to that is this girl's will to milk - and boy
does she! Tara has all the bases covered and
continues to prove herself. |

Tanzey is a large, long-bodied
doe. She has excellent feet and legs and good rear
leg angulation. We feel she has beautiful general
appearance and a pretty, well-attached mammary
system. Tanzey bloomed as a 2nd freshener, winning
the 2010 All Breed Futurity. She was not feeling
well at the Nationals, so wasn't full for her class.
She made the cut but didn't place as high as we feel
she could have.
Tanzey just looks better every
year! She came back strong after a year off placing
5th at the Nationals and consistently plcing in the
top three throughout the season. In 2011, she
appraised 92 EEEE, and we feel it really reflects
the awesome doe that she is. |

Viewpoint was purchased from
Craig Koopman last spring. I have admired this doe
since the Natonals in Massachusetts. She is a long
framed dairy doe that has an outstanding mammary
system, both fore and rear. She is clean, sharp and
angular throughout and possesses a lot of style.
Viewpoint has had a great show season, finishing her
championship, placing 4th at the Nationals and
winning GCH LaMancha at the Indiana State Fair. We
thank Craig for allowing us to add her and her
genetics to our herd! |

Nexus is now the largest doe in
our herd. Her length of body is also extreme and
surpassed by no one. She continues to be extremely
tall and long, taking after her maternal line. She
has smooth shoulders and excellent feet and legs.
Her mammary system is well attached both fore and
rear. She reminds us of her sister, Sett, in style
and type. Nexus' mammary system has finally caught
up with her huge frame, and was simply gorgeous this
year. She did us proud standing 4th in the 2 year
old class at the 2011 Nationals and scoring an
impressive 91 EEEE.
Nexus had a great show season
in 2013, going GCH at the impressive Hoosier Classic
show and finishing her championship. She was 3rd 4
year old at Nationals with 1st place udder. This doe
just gets more impressive with every freshening. |

Sunny Day is exceptionally
large: she is a carbon copy of her dam in height,
color and body style. Sunny Day has taken Sett's
best features and improved upon them with even
better teat placement. Her udder is similar but has
a little more rear udder arch. Sunny is the star of
this year's milkers and a family favorite with her
calm, loving, "sunny" personality.
This doe is a herd favorite and
is proving herself not only as a show doe, but as a
brood doe as well. Her daughter, Shine, was our best
milking yearling and finished her championship as a
2 year old. Sunny's son, Slayer, is one of our Sr.

breeding program. |

Solice is a smoothly blended

feet and legs with a highly arched escutcheon and
good teat placement. Solice had a bang to start her
2010 show season winning the Dry yearling class at
the Nationals and then going National Champion!
Solice freshened with a pretty udder; it's well
attached in the rear and an exceptional fore.
We love this doe - she embodies
big and powerful. Solice had an udder injury this
summer that limited her show season. We hope it will
repair during her dry period and that she will be

excellent attachment both fore and rear. Her teats

eye-catching doe with her vibrant color and style.
In 2012, she had an outstanding year, winning the
Michigan 2 year old All Breed Futurity. In 2013,

Excel had a couple of seetbacks

2016 ADGA National Reserve
Grand Champion
Nadia bloomed with a 2nd
freshening last spring. She is an extremely tall doe with all
kinds of general appearance. Her best feature is her
board level topline and strong feet and legs. We
felt she would be quite competive at the National
Show with her pretty frame and udder, but never
realized she would win the 2 year old class and be
name Res. National Senior Champion. We are so proud
of Nadia. She combines genetics from a great home
bred sire and doe.
Nadia
freshened this spring and is as powerful and well
preserved as ever. |

Autumn-Acres Miss Meadow
AL1669645 ~ 03/01/14
Meadow is one of the most
correct does in our herd. She is our last Marmalade
daughter and reminds us of her dam in many ways.
Meadow is long bodied with a level topline and rump.
She stands on excellent feet and legs and is
smoothly blended throughout. She has a well-attached
mammary system with great teat placement. Meadow
freshened as a first freshening 2 year old last
spring but we felt another freshening is what she
needed. This year she aborted 4 weeks early so she
will not be shown until 2018! We feel she is worth
the wait. Look for her in 2018!! |

Storm is maturing into a
beautiful doe. She came in last spring with a large
amount of milk but an uneven udder (milking close to
2 gallons). Storm freshened this spring with an even
udder and tons of milk. It took awhile to get her in
show shape but she didn't let us down going RGCH and
GCH her first weekend out. We feel this doe excels
in all categories being extremely productive, showy
and the producer of some excellent kids!
Storm is
an excellent producer in milk and in kids. Her 2017
doe kid was first place milking yearling at 2018

Autumn-Acres Tilly's Tears
AL1670843 ~ 03/08/14
Broken pale chamoisee
Tears has a hard kidding this
spring/summer. She snapped back better than we
thought after all she went through, but did not have
the amount of milk with a single birth needed to
balance out her large frame. She is an extremely
sizey doe and we feel it will take another
freshening for her udder to match with her huge
frame. She has a level topline and rump and at a
quick glace you think she is Temptation. Her feet
and legs are excellent and her mammary is high and
wide. We are excited to have her freshen again to
get her on our show string!! |

Fallon and
Finale are doe kids out of our beloved Felicity.
Finale is a little bigger than Fallon. She has a
powerful frame that is long and level with tons of
width from the chest to her hocks. Fallon is a
little more dairy, quite open ribbed and long and
level throughout. They both the makings of a
beautiful udder, true to their maternal line! |

is nothing short of perfect! She is a large doe like
her dam, long bodied, upstanding and smoothly
blended. Ella freshened with a pretty udder...well
attached both fore and rear. Ella finished her
championship her first show out and is one of our
top producers. She went a little uneven so we pulled
her from the show string and hope she will repair
herself after her dry period.

Thyme was the matriarch of our
herd. She was my personal favorite and was an
invaluable asset to our herd. Her show career has
been a great one with numerous Grand Champion, Best
of Breed and Best in show wins. Fame started for
Thyme as a yearling milker when she almost finished
her permanent championship, and continued on with
her most current wins at our 2002 state fair. Thyme
maintained a strong show record along with being our
second highest producing doe (behind her own
daughter), in spite of the fact that she suffered
from gangrene mastitis several years ago. She was a
hearty, large framed doe with a long, level topline
and beautiful flat rump. Her mammary system was very
capacious with excellent attachment, being smooth in
the fore and high and wide in the rear. Thyme's best
quality of all was her ability to reproduce herself
with beautiful daughters of the same type and style
(look for them and you'll be impressed!)
Sadly, Thyme was put down last
fall before winter. She is greatly missed as a
friend, and was the type of goat you only breed once
in a lifetime. Truly, she was special in so many
ways. You'll notice her consistent, beautiful
daughters and granddaughters throughout this site.

Madison is a real pretty doe.
She is a deep-bodied doe that is smoothly blended
and has a level toplien with a wide, flat rump. Her
mammary system has an exceptionally wide rear udder,
a smooth, long fore udder, and teats with proper
shape, size and placement. Madison is a herd
favorite, being very easy going, an excellent milker,
and a joy to work with. She's had an excellent show
record, but has been retired from showing for the
last few years to stay home and provide us with
beautiful daughters! Look for them throughout
this site. You will like what you see!
Madison kidded this year with
two beautiful doe kids. We feel breeding her every
other year is best for a doe of her age. She
continues to be a 'slam-dunk' producer of doe kids
though, and each one of them is highly valued. |

Solaris is another one of our
beautiful Cycas daughters, with a "rags to riches"
story. She was sold as a kid, brought back as a dry
yearling, sent to a neighbor's dairy at 1 1/2, and
brought back home at 2 1/2 to start her show career
~ and she did it with a bang! She is the type of doe
we are striving for, being large with a long,
correct frame and an exceptional mammary system -
and lots of milk!
Solaris sustained a shoulder
injury this past spring. We continue to feel that
she is just a timeless, beautiful doe, but at this
point we are undecided about breeding her this fall. |

Trista lives up to the rest of her
maternal siblings. She was simply outstanding as a
yearling and has continued on as a strong contender.
Her mammary system is near ideal being superbly
attached with near perfect teat placement. Trista
has good depth of body and is smoothly blended. She
has better rear leg angulation than her sisters and
has a wide, level rump. If there was something I
would change about her, I would give her a little
more length. We feel that this doe and her maternal
siblings are the backbone of our herd and share in
some of the success we've had.
Trista came out in 2009 for the
National Show and was first place 5 year old, 1st
place Produce and was part of our 1st place Dairy
Herd. She had a good showing at this year's
Nationals. We're really hoping for a doe year next
spring, since Trista has only had bucks for the past
few years. Even so, she is and continue to be, a
very valuable asset to our herd! |

Tressa is our last precious
daughter of our Thyme. She has lots of general
appearance, and is built very solidly. Her chest
floor is very wide and it is carried back through to
her hocks. She has a high wide rear udder and a
smooth, well-attached fore udder. Her teats are of
nice size and shape and are correctly placed. We
feel Tressa and her sister, Trista, have the best
mammary systems that we have ever produced. Tressa
seemed to be a showstopper from the moment she was
born. AT the 2004 National Show in Harrisburg, she
was Reserve National Champion Recorded Grade Jr. Doe
and went on to freshen the next spring with the type
of udder you can only hope for.
She has continued on with her
show success and has produced three lovely daughters
in our herd with superb mammary systems. All of her
milking daughters have finished their championships
and we look forward to freshening her dry daughters.
She deserves a gold medal for showing and producing
daughters as good as, or better, than herself!
News Flash: Tressa
finally won Best Udder Recorded Grade at the 2011
National Show!!! This is certainly a well-deserved
award, and a long time coming. Tressa's mammary
system is truly something to behold, and hasnt'
shown any signs of age whatsoever - not bad for a
doe going on 12 years old! She's also still being
named Best Doe in Show!

Vizzion was a new addition to
Tyler's Recorded Grade herd in 2006. She is a
smooth-bodied doe that has a beautiful udder. She
possesses some of the qualities we wanted to entwine
in our herd. Vizzion was 2nd place in the Yearling
Milker class at the Nationals in 2006, and her dam,
Sizzle, was the 2006 Reserve Grand Champion to our
doe, Solaris. Together, Vizzion and Sizzle won the
Dam and Daughter class. We thank Cindy for allowing
us to purchase such a fine doe.
Vizzion, once again, topped her
age division at the 2010 Nationals and was named
Reserve National Champion. This is in addition to an
outstanding year in 2008, topping the 3 year old
class at the Nationals and was also part of our 1st
place Dairy Herd.
Vizzion has maintained herself
well and looks great at an advanced age. She has
topped her age bracket every time at the Nationals
and has been my son, Tyler's winning partner in
Showmanship. Vizzion has proved herself by producing
some outstanding daughters in other herds and we
feel her breeding this year will prove to be one of
the best! |

Solitaire is a flashy, tall,
long-bodied dairy doe. She has a high, wide rear
udder and a fore udder that is smoothly blended. Her
long dairy neck blends into sharp withers and a
level topline. Solitaire is so dairy and milks so
well that our biggest challenge is to get her into
show shape for the summer season.
Solitaire had a difficult, single
kidding, and ended up having a c-section last year.
After a good recovery she was still able to make the
Nationals and ended up the show season with a good
record (part of our Dairy herd and Best 3 Females).
Solitaire's daughter, Solice, was National Jr.
Champion and it's appearing that she is sure to
follow in her family's hoofprints.
This spring, Solitaire suffered a
cracked elbow, and had to be taken off the show
string. We don't know if she will be able to go on
the road again, but is a valuable member of our herd
for her milk production, and as an excellent brood
doe. Solitaire's daughter, Solice, was 3rd place at
the Nationals in the 2 year old class as a first
freshener. We were very proud of this doe's
accomplishments and feel she will continue to have a
long show career. |

Lucy is a tall, powerful, large
framed doe that stands on an exceptional set of feet
and legs. She has a level topline and a wide, flat
rump. Her mammary system is well attached with the
longest fore udder in the herd. She is a very mature
doe and most of the judges comment about her
impressive size. We fell she is true to her maternal
side with all her size and strength of feet and
legs. Lucy won the 2008 Michigan All Breed 2 year

accomplishment with all the competition.
Lucy has not been shown since 2009

gallons/day! Her daughter from 2010, Saxs, was my
personal favorite and has turned into a beautiful

Sonoma is easily one of the
largest kids born on the farm. She has always been a
mature-looking doe, and was quick to finish her
championship. She has tremendous width from her
chest to her hocks and is very deep-bodied. Her feet
and legs are strong and she has a well attached
udder that is very smoothly blended. She freshened
just before the National Show so she was not able to
make the trip. She still was able to get out a
couple of times during the show season and was able
to win her classes.
Sonoma was 3rd place in the 2 year
old Michigan All Breed Futurity, only standing
behind her own 2 herdmates. |

Surri is typical of our Solaris
daughters. She has a lot of size and width
throughout and her mammary system is the best yet.
Her rear udder is picture perfect and she has
excellent teat placement. Surri has lovely dairy
character and strong bone structure with improved
angulation over her near-perfect dam. Surri is one
of the bes does to have freshened in our barn and
due to poor judgment of our previous barn help,
Surri will never be the same (udder damage). We love
Surri somuch that we feel she will be a valuable
member of our herd as a brood doe (Surri milks more
from 1/2 an udder than most does milk from an entire
udder!)
This year, Surri has increased
milk production from the damaged half of her mammary
system. We have high hopes that next year she will
improve even more sot hat she can be shown and
achieve the permanent champion status she so
deserves.
We love Surri's doe kids this
season, and her daughter was 1st place Intemediate
kid at Nationals. |

Kendra is a powerhouse. She is one
of the longest, tallest does in the herd. She has
tons of bone, but is still very dairy. Her milk
production is second to non, and we feel her kids
were some of the best born on the farm this season.
Kendra was not shown this year due to freshening a
little light on one half. We feel this should repair
during her dry period and she will be back showing

with a good sized, long frame. Her feet and legs are
excellent and she has a well balanced, smoothly
blended body. Saxs was first place Intermediate

stiff competition. She freshened with a pretty udder

Antimony was an exceptionally
large, flashy doe that oozed of style and grace. She
had tremendous depth and length to her body and a
very capacious, well-attached mammary system. Her
udder was globular in shape with a strong medial and
teats of proper size and shape. Money finished her
championship in 2001 with quite an impressive show
record.
Since 2002, we have limited the
amount she has been shown so we could concentrate on
some of the other does. In 2003, she was only shown
a few time going GCH in July, RGCH in August, 1st
place Aged doe and Best Uddered Alpine at our State
Fair, and finished the season going Best Doe in
Show. Money also lineared in 2003 scoring an
impressive 91 EEEE.
We didn't show her in 2004 because
of a slight mastitis problem due to an oversight on
my part and a kidding with quads that took its toll
on her. Money was pulled out of retirement this
summer after kidding in June and brought to our
State Fair where she was GCH, Best of Breed, Best
Uddered Alpine and Best Doe in Show. I feel Money is
the type of doe we are looking for in our Alpine
breeding program. She has produced this similar type
and style in her offspring and we are excited to
watch her daughter mature in our herd. Money kidded
this season with triplet bucks which will be working
in three quality Alpine breeders' program this fall.
With much sadness, we put Money
down late this summer and miss her dearly. She lives
on through her beautiful daughter, Alera. |

Lumina finished her championship in 2003, so was
only shown a few times in 2004. Even with her
limited showing, this was her best season yet with
two Best in Show wins and several Grands and
Reserves. Lumina had been retired from the show ring
since 2004. We decided to bring Lumina out to a show
this summer and she did super, going Best of Breed
and the judge was quick to praise her on her
excellent feet and legs (especially for a 10 year
old doe).
Along with being a high producing,
showy doe, Lumina is an excellent brood doe. She has

is quite correct throughout. Her mammary system is
beautiful, being high and wide in the rear and
smoothly blended in the fore. Alera's teat placement
sits toward the outside of the udder, but is not too
far off. She is one of the animals closet to the

Lydia is a powerful doe with lots
of width from her chest to her hocks. She is level
over the topline and has a wide, flat rump. her
mammary system is high and wide in the rear with an
outstanding fore udder. Lydia could use some
smoothing outo in the shoulder area, but is very
strong in the other aspects of the score card. All
this and she milks well too!

Vienna was added to the herd last
spring when Chad and Carrie Ringkvist decided to
down size their herd. They knew we've always loved
Vienna and offered her to use before putting the
word out that she would be for sale.
Vienna is extremely tall and long.
She has a well attached udder with excellent teat
placement and stands on a good set of feet and legs.
She had a good show season and even blessed us with
twin does last year. This year, Vienna has some
problems after freshening. We decided to dry her off
and get her into shape. We feel she is back to her
normal self, and have bred her to Session for
spring. Vienna has proven herself to be a really
valuable brood doe. She has blessed us with some
excellent offspring and we look forward to seeing
what her breeding to Session produces. |

birth and has the same people-loving personality
that Lumina had. She is a long-bodied doe that
stands on a good set of feet and legs. Lunesta has
freshened into a lovely milker. She has a
well-developed body and capacious udder that is well
attached. She is an outstanding milker (one of our
heaviest milkers) and we feel she will carry on her
strong maternal line. We're hoping 2013 will be

Velure was the flash of our 2010
Alpine kid crop. She is a stylish doe that is, and
has been, a strong competitor. Velure was simply a
beautiful milking yearling. She is a dairy type doe
with a very pretty udder. She has developed into a
beautiful mature doe. She has outstanding milk
production. We started showing Velure mid-season
after getting her in good condition and she came out
with a bang, placing GCH, RGCH and BDIS sevearl
times. We can't wait to see what she will do with
another kidding! This doe just gets better with age! |
